Þráinn Freyr Vigfússon has worked in many prestigious restaurants in Iceland and abroad. He opened the restaurants Sumac and ÓX in Reykjavík in 2017. Þráinn has been chosen chef of the year in Iceland, competed for Iceland in Bocuse d’Or and has been a member and coach of the Icelandic Culinary Team. Þráinn's restaurant ÓX was recently awarded a Michelin star.
